Pub Royal - The Cowboys Fringants musical play everyone is talking about in Montreal

Pub Royal is a musical play created by the famous Quebec's french band Les Cowboys Fringants. The story is likely set in a pub or bar, a common theme in the band's work, and it brings together various characters and situations that are reflective of the band's songs and the themes they explore and play in front of  the public during the Les Cowboys Fringant's shows. This show is a celebration of the band's music, set within a fictional storyline that combines humour, dance, and circus performances.  The production involves a mix of singers, actors, dancers, and circus artists, making it a multimedia experience. The musical was launched in November 2023, shortly after the passing of the band's lead singer, Karl Tremblay, adding a poignant context to the performance. The show honours the legacy of Les Cowboys Fringants and their impact on Quebec's cultural scene. The production, created by La Tribu and Les 7 Doigts, features dancers and circus artists on stage. Seven singers and actors, including Richard Charest, Martin Giroux, Alexia Gourd, and Kevin Houle, lead the show. Pub Royal celebrates the music of Les Cowboys Fringants through a fictional story infused with humour.
